Scorpio Ring in 14k white and yellow gold - Lee's Ring

This is another of the design I like to make.
This one is special.
It was created by combining two wedding rings.

14K Yellow and White Gold

The two rings belonged to two family friends.  The husband passed away last year.  She is planning to wear it as a thumb ring.

This was made in my studio in Gallery One in Ellensburg, WA

Stop to goof off.  Of course
The piece in the enter will be the sweeping arcs.

You can see the dots or circles here.

Basic design.  I need a piece to cover the seam - way on the right here.

The rings off on the right here will end up on each end.

Melting solder onto the back of each tiny piece.

Soldering it all together.  The torch is 2,300 degrees.  The melting point of the solder is 1,300 and the melting point of gold is 1,600.  There is a little window where the solder flows to weld it all together.  Too far and the whole thing melts into a ball.

Don't forget to stop and goof off!

Here are some photos without the glare of light

You can see the white gold here.
