Sterling and fire agate ring

Sterling and Fire Agate Ring

It is a really good stone, it is hard to get photos that show the colors as they seem to move around in the light.

I made it 'offset'.  The top is aligned, but the bezel is shifted - to the right in this photo.

you can see that here a little better

Construction
If a ring looks good off a finger, it nearly always doesn't on the finger.  Fingers aren't round, for example, so round rings fall off to the right or left and don't stay still.

The offset causes the ring to bump into my finger and stay on top.
This was a fun project, mostly because the stone is so good.  It probably took 4 - 5 hours.
