Ellensburg Jasper and Fine Silver Ring

Ellensburg blue custom jewelry jeweler wedding set gold patrick stanton gallery one sterling sliver fire agate diamonds
This is jasper from the hills around Ellensburg, WA.
My attempt at a Navajo style or design.

It is set in fine silver (.999)
The stone was cut by a member of the Yakima Lapidary Club.

The local newspaper, The Daily Record, is including me in an almanac of Art in Kittitas County!  Link to story here....

Ellensburg Blue and Fine Silver (.999) Rings

Here is a gem quality Ellensburg Blue I made for a Friend.

I always like designs that are asymmetrical.  This is a natural stone and does have some inclusions, etc.

Fine Silver

Marked 999 so that I can keep track of what is Fine and what is Sterling.

Goofing Off

This picture shows what a sheet of 999 silver looks like when I buy it.  Those are tiny little balls of gold, for a different project, sitting on the metal strip.

Here are some earrings I made a long time ago.  The Ellensburg Chalcedony usually exhibits some pink tones in light.

DuFa Kiel - Germany - Quartz

Here is a watch from my collection.

This one is a DuFa Kiel Series from 2020.  This one was made in Germany and is powered by a seiko movement.  The sub-second is in an unusual position.

This is the sales catalog picture.

Walnut Live Edge Shelf

Walnut Live Edge Shelf
This is a shelf for a bathroom.  Sort of a Japanese inspired design.

Japanese woodcut of a tanuki family below.
Lots of little pieces.

Live edge and air dried walnut slab.

The 'curl' in the grain that I like so much is caused by compression as the tree grows.  See the wrinkles?
